Executive Summary
Access to essential utilities such as electricity and water is a basic human right. However, in rural areas of
Anuradhapura District, many families struggle to pay monthly utility bills, leading to frequent disconnections.
These challenges directly affect health, education, and overall well-being.
This project aims to provide monthly financial assistance for utility bills to improve living conditions and
prevent families from falling deeper into poverty due to unpaid electricity or water charges.
Project Objectives
Main Objective:
To provide monthly utility bill assistance to vulnerable families to ensure continuous access to electricity and
water.
Specific Objectives:
· Support 200 low-income families with monthly utility payments
